El Rio Del Norte Municipal Advisory Council (MAC)

Following the redistricting in 2022, Supervisor Long now represents the unincorporated areas of Oxnard, including El Rio, Strickland, and Nyeland Acres. We’ve been holding monthly municipal advisory council meetings to engage with community.

The El Rio Del Norte MAC serves as an Advisory Council to provide advisory recommendations on County public health, safety and welfare issues, such as land use planning and public works permits, and projects located in the Advisory Council area, to appropriate County agencies and to the County Supervisor.
